Here are some tips on installing vinyl on a glass surface (store front windows or car):

Surface Preparation

When preparing glass for vinyl application, it is important that the surface be clean and free from dust. To prepare the surface, clean the glass with isopropyl alcohol and a clean lint free cloth.  Be sure surface is dry before begining application.

Applying The Vinyl

Align and secure the decal with a low tack masking tape across the top. Be sure the material is positioned where you want it and is level. Flip the graphic up using the masking tape as a hinge and remove the paper back liner.. Flip the graphic down carefully, working from the top to the bottom. Using the squeegee, start applying pressure on the vinyl , smoothing the material down and avoiding the entrapment of air. Once the vinyl is flat and bubble-free, remove the overlaying transfer tape.
