Installations Print

The spring and early summer has been abuzz with installations. Crews have been out pretty regularly  to deliver/install lobby graphics, window graphics, banners and exterior signs. Sal's Autobody got a few 14 footers this week to cover both sides of their building. Dr Sousa revised his monument sign on two sides. Here's a picture of that one:

We had crews working at the new MyKnobs.com showroom for several days as part of their expansion effort. We removed all the old vinyl window coverings they had and replaced them with a series of new vinyl banners. These are very prominent windows on Old Country Rd right at the Meadowbrook Parkway exit.
Our UV printer continues to roll out prints of all kinds. We have been asked for a number of unusual material requests lately.  I'm continually amazed at the quality we get from the machine when direct printing on all sorts of odd material. Besides the usual papers and fabrics, we have printed directly onto glass, wood, metal, coated aluminum, corraplast and a few other things. We were able to print across a sheet of ceramic tiles. Check out our regular web page at www.jomarkgraphics.com for pictures of that. Last week we had a request to print directly onto formica sheet lamination. The tests came out perfectly and we are going to start the job this week. Let us know if you have any unusual material requests or ideas.
If anyone has any questions or ideas for tips they would like to share, please let us know. Anything noteworthy will be offered up in a future blog. We would love for this to be a resource for dialogue amongst designers, marketers and anyone else interested in promoting their product/business/band etc through graphics, signs, and visual communications media.
